If some stakeholders complained that I and my co-managers have been spending too little on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); I would tell them about the requirement of balancing spending on CSR activities and other operational and strategic activities. If there is imbalance in spending on CSR and other business activities, there will be lack of profits as well as unnecessary spending resulting in no additional effect on customers for spending more on CSR. However, the overall capacity to spend money on the organizational members will decrease. Therefore, employees might feel dissatisfied because of low salary appraisals.
